'?;iEfiEAS, it is to the mutual advantage of the residents of the Village and its
paid -on-call firemen that adequate provision be made for the compensation of
the paid -on-call firemen; and
11MEAS, all parties concerned have agreed that the foregoing constitutes
fair and equitable payment for services rendered;
vCd, TiIIWYOR:4 BE IT REJOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of rlk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
:iection 1, raid -on-call firemen shall be paid ;4.00 per call unless more
than one call, or combination of calls, occurs prior to the securing of a
current call, in which event the first call shall be paid for at ,:4.00; and
additional calls shall be paid for after the first hour at the rate of b4.00
per hour. (Time shall be computed to the nearest '- hour.)
Section 2. ?aid -on-call firemen who are on special details or on stand-by
shall be paid at the rate of ;2.50 per hour unless the payment provisions
on a per call basis as set forth in the above paragraph shall produce a
greater amount in which case the greater amount shall be paid.
Section 3. All paid -on-call firemen who have work losses shall be compen-
sated on the basis of :40.00 per day.
Section 4. Paid -on-call firemen shall receive 6.00 per training session.
Section 5. The Village will pay all insurance premiums heretofore paid by
paid -on-call firemen in connection with their service as such.
Section 6. Paid -on-call firemen shall not receive the „42.00 per year
clothing, telephone and insurance allowance.
Section 7. All questions of interpretation and application of this
resolution shall be determined by the Fire (thief of the 1/illage.
Section 8. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval and be effective as of the let day of June, 1967.
