WHEREAS, Great Northern Development Company has donated
to the Board of Library Directors of the Village of Elk Grave Village for the
use of the library certain real estate located in Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Library Directors of the Village of
Elk Grove Village have accepted said real estate and have caused a building
to be constructed thereon for the use of the library; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Library Directors have informed us
that they deem the present building and real estate no longer useful for
library purposes; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 81, Section 4•7 of the Illinois Revised
Statutes, 1988, give the library directors of a village the power to sell or
otherwise dispose at any real estate that it deems no longer necessary or
useful for library purposes with the consent of the village authorities.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the President and the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village that we do hereby
consent to the sale of the following described real estate by the Board of
Library Directors of the Village of Elk Grove Village:
Lot 11 in Elk Grove Village Seotion 1 North, being a
subdivision in the Southeast Quarter of Section 21,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to Plat thereof regis-
tered in the Office of the Registrar of 'Titles of Cook
County, Illinois, an January 21, 1857, as Vocument
Number 1?18827.
This resolution shall be In full force and effect following Its
passage and approval according to law.
