A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE MONTH OF
OCTOBER, 1966, AS UNITED FUND MONTH
WHEREAS, the United Fund is a worthy and worthwhile manner in
which charity can be promoted; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties; of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, believe
it to be to the best interest of the Village of Elk Grove Village that
the purposes of the United Fund be encouraged and that persons in
the community be encouraged to give to said United Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1 . That the month of October, 1966 be and is hereby desig-
nated by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk
Grove Village as United Fund month in the Village of Elk Grove
Village.
Section 2. That all government officials and the citizens of the
community be and are hereby encouraged to participate in the worthy
purposes of the United Fund and to do all within their power to
further said purposes .
Section 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
