A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THAT THE ALEXIAN BROTHERS
AND THE ST. ALEXIUS HOSPITAL, LOCATED AT BIESTERFIELD
ROAD NEAR BIESNER ROAD, BE EXEMPT FROM PAYMENT OF
WATER AND SEWER CHARGES FOR THE PERIOD OF ONE YEAR
COMMENCING JUNE 20, 1966 and ENDING JUNE 20, 1967
WHEREAS, there has been established in the Village of Elk Grove
Village the St. Alexius Hospital at Biesterfield and Biesner Roads, which
hospital serves the sick and the ill without regard to race, color or
creed or financial ability to pay for the service, and
WHEREAS, to promote public health and welfare, it is proper that
the Village of Elk Grove Village exempt said St. Alexius Hospital from
water and sewer charges during the period of its initial activity:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
(1) That the St. Alexius Hospital, located near Biesterfield and
Biesner Roads, Elk Grove Village, be and is hereby exempt from payment
of all water and sewer chargers for the period commencing June 20, 1966
and ending June 20, 1967. Thereafter, it is to pay the usual and
ordinary charges for said services.
(2) This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage according to law.
