A RESOLUTION CORRECTING RESOLUTION NO. 43-64 AND APPROVING AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR PLANNING
GRANT FOR URBAN PLANNING ASSISTANCE FOR ELK GROVE VILLAGE,
ILLINOIS UNDER SECTION 701 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1954, AS AMENDED,
BY AND BETWEEN THE BOARD OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS, AND TEC -SEARCH, INC., PLANNING CON-
SULTANT.
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Illinois has, by resolution, requested the Board of Economic
Development to make application to the Housing and Home Finance Agency
for urban planning assistance, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Economic Development has applied for and
received a grant of federal funds under Title VII, Section 701 of the
Housing Act of 1954, as amended, to aid in the financing of a comprehen-
sive planning program in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Illinois has given due consideration to said proposed contract,
by and between the Board of Economic Development, the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Illinois and Tec -Search, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED between the Village Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois as follows:
SECTION 1. The proposed contract for planning assistance under
Section 701 of the Federal Housing Act of 1954, as amended, by and between
the Board of Economic Development, the Village Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois and Tec -Search, Inc., whereby the
total sum of $9,065.00 is to be paid to the Board of Economic Development,
State of Illinois, is hereby in all respects approved.
SECTION 2. James R. Gibson, Village President is hereby authorized
and directed to execute said proposed contract on behalf of the Village
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois and Eleanor
G. Turner, Village Clerk of Elk Grove Village, Illinois is hereby author-
ized and directed to attest such execution and to affix the official seal
thereto on each counterpart and to forward such counterparts to the Illinois
Board of Economic Development for execution on behalf of the State of
Illinois, together with such other documents relative to the approval and
execution thereof as may be required.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
