A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO AN
ANNEXATION AGREEMENT RELATING TO PROPERTY AT
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF DEVON AND ELMHURST ROADS.
WHEREAS, the Village has heretofore entered into an
annexation agreement between itself, William C. McLennan and
Company, a developer, and the then owners of property legally
described in an amendment to the annexation agreement, a copy
of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village did conduct
public hearings in accordance with law and have complied with
all statutes made and provided, to amend the annexation
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties.of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the President and Village Clerk be and
are h—er—e-b—y-au—UHor1zed and directed to execute for and on behalf
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, an amendment to the
annexation agreement between itself, the developer William C.
McLennan and Company, and the Citizens Bank and Trust Company
of Park Ridge as trustee under Trust No. 457, dated MarchA,
1963, which amended annexation agreement is dated this / day
of April 1965, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit ('A" and made a part hereof.k
Section 2, This resolution shall be in full force and
effecT-rr—o—m--an—ff after its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED and APPROVED this day of April, 1965.
