REGULAR ELECTION OF APRIL 20, 1965
AND DECLARING THE RESULTS THEREOF
WHEREAS, a regular election was held in and for the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, on Tuesday, April
20, 1965 for the purpose of electing a Village President, a Village Clerk,
three Village Trustees for a four year term, one Village Trustee for a two
year term and two Library Directors, each for a six year term; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have canvassed the
votes cast at said election and are ready to report;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois:
Section 1. That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2. That 2894 votes were cast in the following manner.

Twenty three defective ballots were cast and not counted.
Section 3.
(1) Jack D. Pahl, having received the highest number of votes be
and is hereby declared elected to the Office of President of the Village of
Elk Grove Village.
(2) Eleanor G. Turner, having received the highest number of
votes be and is hereby declared elected to the office of Clerk of the
Village of Elk Grove Village.
(3) George C. Coney, Charles J.Zettek,Jr,Thomas A. Garrity,
having received the highest number of votes, be and each of them are
hereby declared elected to the office of Trustee of the Village of Elk
Grove Village for four year terms.
(4) Ronald L. Chernick,having received the highest number of
votes, be and is hereby declared elected to the office of Trustee of the
Village of Elk Grove Village for a two year term.
(5) Robert F. Fleming and Kathryn Mary Fleming, having received
the highest number of votes, be and they are hereby declared elected to the
office of Library Director of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
That all foregoing officials so elected shall qualify in the manner and time
prescribed by law.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
forthwith upon its adoption and approval according to law.
