A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LETTER REQUESTING
PASSAGE BY THE STATE LEGISLATURE OF A BILL
REGARDING THE PUBLISHING OF THE ANNUAL TREASURERIS
REPORT WHICH BILL.IS SPONSORED BY THE ILLINOIS
MUNICIPAL LEAGUE. .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village.of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1, That the President of the Village of Elk
Grove V l�lage be`and is hereby authorized and directed to sign
a letter directed to the Legislative Committee on Municipalities,
Springfield, Illinois, urging the passage of a bill regarding
publishing of the annual treasurer's report which bill is
endorsed by the Illinois Municipal.League, a copy of which
letter is marked -Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effectro_m an�fter its passage and approval according to law.

Gentlemen:
This is to officially go on record that the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois is in full
agreement with the bill being introduced to the
State Legislature regarding the publishing of the
annual.treasurerts report, and endorsed by the Illinois
Municipal League.
We sincerely feel it is necessary as it will give
the public much more comparable information, audited
information, at a substantial savings to the taxpayer.
