A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
WHEREAS, the Great Northern Development Co., Inc. of Delaware, is the
sole owner of Lots #1461, 1462, 1463, 1464, 1465, 1466, 1467, 1468,
1469, 1470, 1471, 1472, and 1473 in Elk Grove Village Section 4 which
lots are located on the north side and the east side of Lot #1460,
a park site, and
WHEREAS, the Great Northern Development Co., Inc. has donated said
lots to the Village of Elk Grove Village for the purpose of
benefiting said community, and
WHEREAS, said lots can be made into a valuable adjunct to the
Village's park and playground facility;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois:
Section 1. The President and Board of Trustees for and on behalf
of the Village does hereby express its gratitude to the Great
Northern Development Co. for the donation of lots and look upon
it as continuing evidence of the public concern by the developer.
Section 2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to send certified
copies of this resolution to the Great Northern Development Co.
