A RESOLUTION PROVIDING COMPENSATION
FOR TEMPORARY POLICEMEN
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1 . That the temporary policemen, duly appointed by
the Fire and Police Commission of this Village, shall be com-
pensated at the rate of $2.00 per hour for each hour which they
spend in the service of the Village in excess of sixteen hours
In any one month.
Section 2. All temporary police officers shall maintain
proper insurance coverage in the amount of $10,000 property
damage liability and X100,000 to $300,000 bodily injury
liability to persons injured covering the operation of any
motor vehicle used by them. It is understood that upon satis-
factory showing of proper endorsement all additional premiums
caused to the temporary police officer by virtue of this coverage
.'3me shall be reimbursed to him by the Village.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
