NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois: Section 1. That the portion of Resolution 22-63 heretofore adopted reading as follows: 1116. In case the meter cannot be read for any cause, the Village will require a payment on account equal to the average bill for the prior six months consumption." be and is hereby repealed. Section 2. That in lieu of the foregoing portion of Resolution 22-63 repealed in Section 1 above, the foregoing language shall be inserted and substituted: 1116. In case the meter for single family residences cannot be read for any cause, the Village will require a payment on account equal to the average bill of the average single family resident water and sewer user for the billing period one year Immediately preceding the billing period in question." Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
