A RESOLUTION COM ENDING CENTEX CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
DONATION OF PARK SITE
WHEREAS, the Centex Construction Company through its subsidiary
corporations is the owner of two and one-third acres of land located
on the vest side of Tonne Road, approximately six hundred feet north
of Devon Avenue; and
1,MREAS, both the Playground and Recreational Board as well as
the Village President and Board of Trustees believe it to be desirable
and to the best interest of the VillaCe that the above described pro-
perty be developed into a tots pari: to afford _,ecreational and play
facilities to small children; and
i:'=EAS, the Center: Construction Company responsive to the
Village's need for a tots park, has agreed to donate the above described
property for said purpose:
NO117, 1111EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Ell: Grove Village, Counties of Cook- and
DuPaEe; Illinois;
Section 1. That the Village of Elk Grove Village by and through
its elected public officials does hereby commend the Centex Construc-
tion Company for its generous and farsighted donation of two and one-
third acres of land located on the vest side of Tonne Road, approxi-
mately six hundred feet north of Devon Avenue to the Village of E11;
Grove Vi.-lage for the purpose of developing same into a tots part:
for the benefit of the small children of the Village.
Section 2. That Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Centex Construction
Company.
