RESOLUTION NO. LA}
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING GEORGE C. CONEY,
VILLAGE TREASURER, TO BE T! -E AUTHORIZED
AGENT FOR '"'HE VILLAGE IN CONNECTION WITH
ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND
NOW, THEREFORE, bE I.' RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois;
Section 1, That George C. Coney, Village Treasurer, is
hereby appointed as the authorized agent of the Village of Elk
Grove Village and is authorized to act for said Village in the
performance of all duties relating to the administration of the
Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund Act as provided for in Section
4.01, paragraphs (a) and (b) of said Act; said appointment to be
effective as of March 14, 1963..
Section 2. That in accordance w. .h Section 1�.O1 of
the aforementioned Act, the following powers and duties are
hereby given to the said George C. Coney, authorized agent of
the Village;
1. To certify to the Illinois Municipal Retirement
Fund whether or not a given person is authorized to participate
in said fund.
2. To file a petition for and to case a ballot for the
election of an executive trustee of the Illinois Municipal Re-
tirement Fund.
3. To certify to the Illinois Municipal Retirement
Fund that a particular employee is on an authorized leave of
absence.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full. force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
