REMOVAL AGREEMENT WITH G & T TRUCKING. INC.
NOW, TREREFURE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1 - That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to
sign the attached documents marked
Agreement , a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said
documents upon the signature of the Village President.
Section 2 - That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.

Agreement between the VILLAM OF ELK GROVE VILLA(Z, a
saunicipal corporation in the Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois, hereinafter designated as Village, and G do T Traekiag,
Inc., hereinafter designated as Contractor, for the purpose of
snow removal, as follows:
1. That the Contractor shall remove snow from all streets
within the Village limits as specified by the Street Department
foreman.
2. That the Contractor shall use in said operation ten
oubio-yard dump trucks with plows, except upon request of the
Street Department of the Village.
3. Th*t the Contractor shall use its own discretion as to
when trucks are to be put to work unless the Street Department
of the Village makes special request that work commence, in which
event work shall commence within two hours after the request is
made.
4. That the Contractor agrees to assume any and all liability
which may be occasioned to the Village by virtue of its performance
wider this contract and does further agree to indemnify and save
harmless the Village from any and all claims and judgments arising
from or incidental to this contract or performance thereunder;
that the Contractor further agrees to supply a certificate of
Insurance to protect the Village and its residents against personal
injury or property damage occasioned by the Contractor's equipment
or employees, said insurance to be in the amount of #100,000 to
#300,000 public liability and 125,000 property damage.
5. That the Contractor shall supply the Village a perfor-
mance bond in the amount of 15,000, in a form acceptable to the
Village attorney.
6. That the price to be paid for snow removal shall be
based on those contained in quoted bids contained in letter of
October 7. 1963 to the Village from the Contractor heretofore
filed with the Village Clerk; that payment shall be within four-
teen days from the time a statement Is rendered to the Village.
7. That in the event the Contractor fails to remove snow
from all streets in the above sections within twenty-four hours
from the time the snow fall stops or from the time the Village
Street Department notifies the Contractor to clean the streets,
whichever is earlier, that the Village at its option shall have the
right to hire additional snow removal equipment and the use thereof
from another contractor so as to complete the Job, in which event
the difference in cost over what is to be paid to the Contractor
hereunder will be chargeable to the Contractor and said difference
may be deducted from the Contractor's bill..
6. That this agreement shall be in full force and effect
upon its signing by both parties.
