RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE VOTES CAST AT THE REGULAR ELECTION OF
APRIL 16, 1963 AND DECLARING THE RESULTS THEREOF
WHEREAS, a regular election was held in and for the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 16, 1963,
for the purpose of electing three Village Trustees, each for a four-year
term, and two Library Directors, each for a six-year term; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have canvassed the votes
cast at said election and are ready to report;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois:
Section 1. That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2. That �� votes were cast in the following manner:

Seven defective ballots were cast and not counted.
Section 3. (a) Ralph Arnold Lewis, George E. Mullen and Ralston D.
Malonek, having received the highest number of votes, be and they are
hereby declared elected to the office of Trustee of the Village of Elk
Grove Village.
(b) Helen C. Stafsnes and John Gayer, having received the
highest number of votes, be and they are hereby declared elected to the
office of Library Director of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
That all foregoing officials so e:Lected shall qualify in the manner and
time prescribed by law.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect forth-
with upon its adoption and approval according to law.
ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 1963.
