A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
LEASE FOR STORAGE OF TRUCKS IN STREET
DEPARTMENT GARAGE BETWEEN VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAG", AND JOSEPH STAB
DOING BDSINhSS AS MONARCH DISPOSAL COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village, a municipal
corporation of Illinois, has heretofore constructed a municipal
garage used by the Street Department of the Villaae for its
functions and located at b6b i,andmeier Road in the Village of
Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, Joseph Stab doing business as Monarch Disposal
Company is a scavenger picking up from the residential area of
the Village of Elk Grove Village garbage and other refuse per
contract with said Village, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village does tempor-
arily have some -50 square feet of space in the aforementioned
garage building which is not presently in use and is available
to be used by said !Monarch Disposal Company for the storage of
trucks used in connection with the picking up of garbage in said
Village, and
WFEREAS, Joseph StAb doing business ad Yonarch Disposal
Company, for his convenience and the convenience of the Village,
desires to store his trucks in the Street Department garage and
is willing to pay to the Village the sum of ,350 per month com-
mencing July 1, 1962, and
WEEREAS, it is beneficial to the Village that all of
its facilities be completely utilized, if not by its own use then
by others provided a fair and equitable rental is paid therefor,
NOW, THhRiFURE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board cf Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the President and Village Clerk be
and are hereby authorized to sign a lease agreement leasing some
750 square Eeet of area in the Street Department garage at 666
Landmeier Road, Elk Grove Village, to Joseph Stwb doing business
as Monarch Disposal Company, for the purpose of storing his trucks,
at a rental of $35U per month, payable in advance; it being under-
stood that such lease may be terminated at will by either party to
it upon 90 dayst prior written notice; a copy of which lease is
attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set out.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
