RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SNOW REMOVAL AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook
County, Illinois:
Section 1. That the Village of Elk Grove Village does
hereby award its snow removal contract to Mllhiirn Pro hers
704 Central Roads Mt. Prospect, Ill., eon rac or, or
the remove of al snow on streets lying within—the following
described area:
All streets South of and, including Laurel Avenue East
of and including Ridge Avenue.P Road from Landmeier Road to
Devon Avenue. West of Ridge Avenue, South of Elk Grove Boulevard,
including the South half of Elk Grove Boulevard West to Arlington
Heights Road. This section commonly known as Sections 4, 6 North,
6 South, 7, 8 East, 8 West, 9 and 9a, and any new sections where
occupied. Snow on Elk Grove Boulevard to be plowed into medium
strip;
at prices in accordance with the bids submitted by said contractor
and in accordance with agreement attached.
Section 2. That the President and Village Clerk of the
Village of Elk Grove Village are hereby authorized to enter into
and sign an agreement between the Village of Elk Grove Village and
Milburn Brothers, Inc. , contractor; which agree-
ment is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution as if
fully set out.
Section 3. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to send a signed copy of said agreement to the contractor for its
signature, together with a copy of this resolution, and request
the contractor to sign a copy of said agreement and remit same to
the Village Clerk for her records. The Village Clerk shall indi-
cate in a letter of transmittal that the foregoing agreement shall
not become binding upon the Village unless it is signed and re-
turned within five (5) days from the date from which it is sent,
which condition shall constitute a restriction upon the effective-
ness of the attached agreement.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approvel according to
law.
