RESOLUTION NO. "
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SNOW REMOVAL AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook
County, Illinois:
Section 1. That the Village of Elk Grove Village does
hereby award its snow removal contract to L. A. Scharrinxhausen.

e remova o all snow on streets ly ni within the following
described area:
All streets North of and including Landmeier Road East
of Arlington Heights Road within the Village limits, excluding
the Higgins Industrial area. This includes section commonly known
as Section 1 North and Section 1 South;
All streets South of Landmeier Road and West of Ridge
Avenue including Ridge Avenue to Laurel Avenue. This to include
the North half of Elk Grove Boulevard from Ridge Avenue to State
Road. This section commonly known as Section 3. Snow along Elk
Grove Boulevard to be plowed into medium strip;
at prices in accordance with the bids submitted by said contractor
and in accordance with agreement attached.
Section 2. That the President and Village Clerk of the
Village of Elk Grove Village are hereby authorized to enter into
and sign an agreement between the Village of Elk Grove Village and

Section 3. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
to send a signed copy of said agreement to the contractor for its
signature, together with a copy of this resolution, and request
the contractor to sign a copy of said agreement and remit same to
the Village Clerk for her records. The Village Clerk shall indi-
cate in a letter of transmittal that the foregoing agreement shall
not become binding upon the Village unless it is signed and re-
turned within five (5) days from the date from which it is sent,
which condition shall constitute a restriction upon the effective-
ness of the attached agreement.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
