RESOLUTION WITH RESPECT TO WATER
AND SANITARY SEWER PERMITS
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago has
heretofore issued a permit to the Village of Elk Grove Village as permites to
construct a system of sanitary sewors in Elk Grove Village Sections 4, 6, 7,
8 and 9; Higgins Commercial Unit 1; and Centex Industrial Park Units 1, 2, 3,
4, and 5, all within the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois through the Illinois Department of
Public Health has heretofore issued a permit for the construction of a water
plant, water main and distribution system in Elk Grove Village Sections 4,
6, 71 8 and 9; Higgins Commercial Unit 1; and Centex Industrial Park Units
1, 23 3, 4, and 5, to the Village of Elk Grove Village as permitee; and
WH3REAS, the Elk Grove Water & Sewer Company, Inc., is the owner
and operates and maintains the said water and sewer lines within said Vil-
lage of Elk Grove Village in the sections and units horeinabove set forth
and it is desirable that the said permit be amended to include the said Elk
Grove Water & Sewer Compary, Inc. as an additional permitee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Villa;e of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1 That the Acting Village Clerk be and she is hereby
authorized and directed to request the ?-letropolitan Sanitary District of
Greater Chicago to &rend the permit heretofore issued for the construction
of sanitary seua,.rs within Elk Grove Village, Sections 4, 6, 71 8, and 9;
Higgins Commercial Unit 1; and Centex Industrial Park Units 1, 2, 3, 49 and
5 by including the name of "Elk Grove u,,ater and Sewer Companyp Inc." as
additional permitee under said permit.
Section 2 That the Acting Village Clerk be and she is hereby
authorized and dir-acted to request the State of Illinois through the Illi-
nois Department of Public Health to amend the permit heretofore issued for
the construction of a wat^r plant, water main and distribution system
within Elk Grove Village Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9; Higgins Commercial
Unit 1; and Centex Industrial Park Units 1, 23 3, 4, and 5 by adding thereto
the name of "Elk Grove Eater and Sewer Company, Inc." as permites.
Section 3. That a certified copy of this resolution be trans-
mitted to t epolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago and to the
State of Illinois, Department of Public Health.
Section 4 That this resolution shall be in full force and )ffect
forthwith upon its adoption and approval according to law.
