RESOLUTION regarding access to and from
Arlington Heights Road, also known as
State Road, to the Northern Illinois
Tollway
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois, consider it to the best inter-
ests of the Village of Elk Grove Village that access be afforded traffic
to and from the Northern Illinois Tollway from Arlington Heights Road,
also known as State Road, and that same would promote public health,
safety, and welfare; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village believes that the
Illinois Tollroad Commission is entertaining the advisability of afford-
ing said access.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, as follows
Section 1 That the Village of Elk Grove Village by its Board
of Trustees resident wishes and urges upon the Illinois Tollroad
Commission that it afford access to and from the Northern Illinois Toll -
way from Arlington Heights Road, also known as State Road, inasmuch as
the same is considered by said Village to be to its best interests.
Section 2 That the President of the Village of Elk Grove Vill-
age be and-N—FWRauthorized for and on behalf of the Village to do
all things which he deems necessary to accompliEh the objective of se-
curing access from the Northern Illinois Tollway to and from Arlington
Heights Road, also known as State Road, and to cooperate in all respects
with such other villages or cities which have similar objectives and aims.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and ef-
feet fortO=upon its adoption and approval according to law,
