A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TONNE ROAD
WHEREAS, Commonwealth Edison Company together with the Village of
Elk Grove Village did enter into an agreement which provided that the
Commonwealth Edison Company was to prepare and improve that part of Tonne
Road lying between the southerly right-of-way line of Landmier Road and the
Northerly line of Devon Avenue within the Village, which agreement provided
for the construction of the part of Tonne Road to provide a four -lane divided
highway with pavement, curbs, gutters, underground drainage facilities and
sidewalks pursuant to plans and specifications agreed upon; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned improvements have been fully completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications approved by the Village Board
and the Village Engineer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BL IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois, as followss
Section 1 That the Village of Elk Grove Village by its President
and Board of Trusts a hereby accepts Tonne Road as hereinabove specified
together with the improvements thereon, consisting of parkways, gutters,
drainage construction, street improvements, curbs and sidewalks, all within
the Village of Elk Grove Village and agrees to maintain said street and LR+
provements as noted above.
Section 2 That this acceptance is predicated upon the deposit
with the V age by the Commonwealth Edison Company or Mayer Paving Co. of
a bond by a surety company guaranteeing against faulty workmanship and
mq terials, exclusive of ordinary wear and tear, for a period of one year*
Section 3 That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
forthwith upo— n i�adoption and approval; according to law.
