AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7E-6:A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PROHIBITED USES IN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of a Text Amendment to the Elk Grove
Village Zoning Ordinance in order to change certain provisions of Prohibited Uses in Industrial Districts; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the findings and recommendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe that
it is in the best interest of the Village to amend the Zoning Ordinance accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 7E-6:A PROHIBITED USES IN ALL INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICTS:
Uses Prohibited in I-1 Industrial Districts:
Be amended by deleting therefrom the following; “Industry
Group 348, Ordnance and accessories, except vehicles and
Guided missiles” and adding to said Section the following;
“Industry No. 3482, Small Arms Ammunition” and “Industry
No. 3483, Ammunition, Except for Small Arms”.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
