AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PERMITTED USES IN THE OFFICE TRANSITIONAL DISTRICT AND THE OFFICE PARK CONDITIONAL USE DISTRICT IN ORDER
TO CLARIFY PERMITTED AND ACCESSORY USES IN SAID DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of amending various sections of
the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to permitted and accessory uses in the Office Transitional and Office Park Districts of the Village Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the finding and recommendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it
is in the best interest of the Village to amend the Zoning Ordinance accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the introductory language of Section 7C-2:B be amended from its present language –“Business Service Offices which perform services on the premises, illustrative of
which are as follows:”
“Business service and administrative offices, not including any
any associated lodge or hall, nor conference and meeting facilities
in excess of twenty-percent (20%) of the gross floor area of the
permitted use. Illustrative examples of such uses are as follows:”
Section 2: That the introductory statement of Section 7D-2 be amended to
Read as follows:
“USES PERMITTED – All uses presently permitted under Sections 7C-2A, 7C-2B and 7C-2C of this Chapter shall be permitted within the Office Park Conditional Use District and in addition
thereto, the following uses shall be permitted:
In Section 2 – that Section 7D-2 of the Zoning Ordinance be further amended by amending the third sentence in the list of uses permitted to read as follows:
“Convention and Meeting Facilities as an accessory use to restaurant, hotel or office building and not exceeding 20% of the gross floor area of such use”.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
