AN ORDINANCE AMENDING EXHIBIT E TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY REDUCING THE REQUIRED WIDTH OF AN EMPLOYEE PARKING STALL IN THE I-1 AND I-2 ZONED DISTRICTS
FROM NINE (9) FEET TO EIGHT AND ONE-HALF (8.5) FEET FOR EMPLOYEE PARKING WHEN PROPERLY POSTED
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of amending Exhibit E of the Zoning
Ordinance (Off-Street Parking Chart) to permit 8.5 feet width parking stalls for employee parking in the I-1 and I-2 Zoned District; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it
is in the best interest of the Village to amend the Zoning Ordinance accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Off-Street Parking Chart identified as Exhibit E of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village by adding four (4) asterisk inside the box marked ‘S’
at the top of the table of dimensions chart and at the bottom of the Exhibit inset the exclamatory language of the four (4) asterisks insertion as follows:
**** Parking stall widths in the I-1 and I-2 Zoning District
may be reduced to 8.5 feet in width when used exclusively
for employee parking and designated as such.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
