AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3087 BY AMENDING SECTION 4-3-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO REPLACE THE WORD “BANKS” WITH THE WORDS “FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS” AS IT PERTAINS TO PARKING
SPACES FOR BUSINESS USES
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3087 duly passed and approved on May 9, 2006 made several changes to Section 4-3-1 of the Zoning Ordinance and that said changes as recommended following a Public
Hearing before the Plan Commission; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3087 inadvertently omitted the recommendation of the Plan Commission to delete the word “banks” and in its place insert the word “financial institutions” as it
pertains to parking requirements for business uses as set forth in Section 4-3-1B of the Zoning Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 3087 duly passed and approved on May 9, 2006 be amended by adding to said Ordinance the following:
Amend Section 4-3-1B of the Zoning Ordinance by removing the word “banks” and substituting in its place the words “financial institutions”.
Section 2: That all other provisions of Ordinance No. 3087 shall remain in
full force and effect.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
