AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-3-6-6 PARKING FACILITIES FOR THE HANDICAPPED OR DISABLED BY INCREASING THE SPECIFIED FINE FROM $100.00 TO $250.00
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-3-6-6C Specifications and Location of Parking Spaces be amended by amending the dollar amount penalty from $100.00 to $250.00.
Section 2: That Section 6-3-6-6F Penalty be amended to read as follows:
F. Penalty – Any person violating any of the provisions of this Section 6-3-6-6 shall be subject to a fine of $250.00 for each offense, which fine or penalty shall be in addition to
any costs or charges connected with the removal or storage of such motor vehicle authorized pursuant to 625 IL Complied Statutes 5/11-1302A of the Illinois Vehicle Code.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
