AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDED SITE PLAN FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT DEVON AVENUE AND RIDGE AVENUE IN ELK GROVE
VILLAGE (GARDEN 6 JOINT VENTURE)
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village pursuant to Ordinance No. 2916 and Resolution No. 54-02 annexed property at
Devon Avenue and Ridge Avenue so that said property could be utilized for B-2 business
purposes, and have approved a site plan for said property; and,
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned for an amendment to
said site plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has heretofore reviewed the petition and
amended site plan and unanimously recommended its approval to the Mayor and Board
of Trustees; and,
WHEREAS, the amended site plan has been reviewed for conformance with all
of the current codes and regulations currently in effect within the Village and applicable
to the development; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after having considered the recommendation of said Plan Commission find and
believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said site plan be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 2916 and Resolution No. 54-02, which
Resolution and Ordinance annexed the property located at Devon Avenue and Ridge
Avenue to the Village and approved a site plan, be and the same is hereby amended by
substituting therefore an amended site plan, copies of which are attached hereto and are
on file in the office of the Village Clerk.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
PASSED this 27t" day of September 2005.
