HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 50-06 - 12/12/2006 - CLASS 6B/1100 CHASE AVERESOLUTION NO. 50-06 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE APPROPRIATENESS FOR CLASS 6B STATUS PURSUANT TO THE COOK COUNTY REAL PROPERTY CLASSIFICATION ORDINANCE AS AMENDED JANUARY 1, 2000 FOR CERTAIN REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT 1100 CHASE AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village desires to promote the development of industry in the Village of Elk Grove; and WHEREAS, the Cook County Assessor is operating under an ordinance enacted by the Cook County Board of Commissioners, and amended from time to time, the most recent amendment becoming effective as of January 1, 2000, which has instituted a program to encourage industrial and commercial development in Cook County known as the Cook County Real Property Classification Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Petitioner has applied for or is applying for Class 6B property status pursuant to said aforementioned ordinance, for certain real estate located at 1100 Chase Avenue, in the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois, with the Property Index Number 08-27-402-020-0000, has proven to this Board that such incentive provided for in said ordinance is necessary for development to occur on this specific real estate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That the request of the Petitioner to have certain real estate located at 1100 Chase Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois, legally described as follows, and with the Property Index Number 08-27-402-020-0000, declared eligible for Class 613 status pursuant to the Cook County Real Property Classification Ordinance as amended January 1, 2000, is hereby granted in that this Board and the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, has determined that the incentive provided by the said Class 6B Tax Incentive Ordinance is necessary for the said development to occur on the subject property: LOT 1 IN THE FLORIDA TITLE RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 234 IN CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT 124, BEING A RESUBDIVISION IN SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, RECORDED ON THE 30TH DAY OF JUNE, 1992 AS DOCUMENT NUMBER 92476265. EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PART MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT I AFORESAID; THENCE WESTERLY, A DISTANCE OF 152.28 FEET ON A NON-TANGENTIAL CURVE "TO THE LEFT, BEING ALSO THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 1 AFORESAID, HAVING A RADIUS OF 1230.00 FEET, THE CHORD OF SAID CURVE BEARS AN ASSUMED BEARING OF NORTH 87 DEGREES, 49 MINUTES 44 SECONDS WEST, A DISTANCE OF 152.18 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 88 DEGREES, 37 MINUTES, 28 SECONDS WEST ALONG TANGENT AND ALONG SAID SOUTH LINE OF LOT 1, A DISTANCE OF 169.95 FEET FOR A POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE CONTINUING SOUTH 88 DEGREES, 37 MINUTES, 28 SECONDS WEST, A DISTANCE OF 10.00 FEET; THENCE NORTHWESTERLY, A DISTANCE OF 31.41 FEET ON A TANGENTIAL CURVE TO THE RIGHT HAVING A RADIUS OF 20.00 FEET; THE CHORD OF SAID CURVE BEARS NORTH 46 DEGREES, 22 MINUTES, 49 SECONDS WEST, A DISTANCE OF 28.28 FEET; THENCE NORTH 01 DEGREE, 23 MINUTES, 06 SECONDS WEST ALONG TANGENT, A DISTANCE OF 10.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY, A DISTANCE OF 47.12 FEET ON A NON-TANGENTIAL CURVE TO THE LEFT HAVING A RADIUS OF 30.00 FEET, THE CHORD OF SAID CURVE BEARS SOUTH 46 DEGREES, 22 MINUTES, 49 SECONDS EAST, A DISTANCE OF 42.42 FEET TO POINT OF BEGINNING, ALL IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Section 2. That the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois hereby supports and consents to the Class 613 Application and approves the classification of the subject property as Class 6B property pursuant to the Cook County Real Property Classification Ordinance and the Class 613 tax incentives shall apply to the property identified as Permanent Real Estate Index Number 08-27-402-020-0000. Section 3. That the Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized to sign any necessary documents to implement this Resolution. Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
