AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-7:D.3 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF A FENCE
THAT WOULD EXTEND BEYOND THE NEAREST FRONT CORNER OF THE
PRINCIPAL BUILDINGS LOCATED ON ADJACENT SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL LOTS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 553 GROSVENER
COURT. ELK GROVE VILLAGE (HALLAM)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
at a public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of
granting a variation of Section 3-70.3 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation
of a fence which will extend beyond the nearest front comer of the principal buildings
located on adjacent single-family residential lots for property located at 553 Grosvener
Court, Elk Grove Village, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove, after
having reviewed the recommendation and findings of said Zoning Board of Appeals find
and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-7:D.3 of the Zoning
Ordinance pertaining to the location of fences to permit the installation of a fence that
would extend approximately twenty feet -six inches (20'6") beyond the nearest front
corner of the principal building located on the adjacent residential lot on the south side of
the property and five feet -six inches (5'6") beyond the nearest front corner of the
principal building located on the adjacent lot on the east side of the property, which
property is located at 553 Grosvener Court, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and identified by
the following property identification number:
08-28-311-015-0000
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2
