AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO KRZYSZTOF
BURTAN TO PERMIT THE OPERATION OF AN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR
FACILITY IN AN I-1 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
105 GAYLORD ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as
a Zoning Commission, at a public hearing duly called and held according to law,
considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit to Krzysztof Burtan to permit
the operation of an automotive parts installation and repair shop in an I-1 Industrial
Zoned District on property located at 105 Gaylord Street, Elk Grove Village, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission,
find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to grant the Special Use Permit
as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to Krzysztof Burtan to
permit the operation of an automotive parts installation and repair shop in an I-1
Industrial Zoned District for property located at 105 Gaylord Street Elk Grove Village,
subject to the following conditions:
Staff review of the revised parking plan showing seven (7) ninety
degree parking stalls.
2. Interior building modifications to bring the facility up to code
compliance for an automotive repair/body shop.
3. If the business ceases to operate the Special Use Permit will be
deemed null and void and of no effect.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to low.
VOTE: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2
