AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO K & K DIESEL
REPAIR, INC. TO PERMIT THE OPERATION OF AN AUTOMOBILE AND
TRUCK REPAIR GARAGE IN AN I-1 INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 820 NICHOLAS BOULEVARD, ELK GROVE
VILLAGE ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a
public hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting
a Special Use Permit to K & K Diesel Repair, Inc. to permit the operation of an
automobile and truck repair garage; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after considering the recommendation and findings of said Plan Commission,
find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED; by the Mayor and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to K & K Diesel Repair,
Inc. for the operation of an automobile and truck repair garage in an I-1 Industrial Zoned
District for property located at 820 Nicholas Boulevard, Elk Grove Village and legally
described as follows:
LOT 3 IN CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK NORTH UNIT 2, BEING A
SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11
EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS.
Section 2: That the minutes and the finding of fact of the Plan Commission
meetings in this matter be and the same are incorporated by reference into this Ordinance.
Section 3: That this Special Use Permit is subject to the following conditions:
1. That the permittee apply for, receive and improve the driveway
on the subject property in accordance with Village
requirements and regulations.
2. That the permittee shall maintain a lease or ultimately purchase
the property located at 820 Nicholas Boulevard.
That the permittee meet all of the Village's requirements
concerning vehicle storage regulations. Should the petitioner
fail to utilize the other leased premises at 720 Richard Lane for
the parking of vehicles.or an alternative site for the same
purpose, or otherwise be in receipt of multiple violations for
the improper storage of vehicles on the subject property, then
and in that event this Special Use Permit shall terminate upon
written notice to the owner.
4. That this Special Use Permit is issued solely to K & K Diesel
Repair, Inc. for so long as they are in possession of the subject
property and do not violate Village Ordinances relating to the
improper storage of vehicles on the subject property.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
Passage and approval according to law.
