AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 7A -1:B (2) (a) AND
SECTION 7A-I:F-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE
INSTALLATION OF A FOUR FOOT (4') HIGH ORNAMENTAL FENCE WITHIN ONE
FOOT (I') OF THE PROPERTY LINE ALONG ELK GROVE BOULEVARD, ALONG
THE PARKING LOT ACCESSED FROM THE STREET AND ALONG RIDGE
AVENUE (ELK GROVE PARK DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a Public Hearing duly called and held
according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 7A-1:13 (2) (a) and
7A -1:F-1 to permit the installation of a four foot (4') tall ornamental fence on property located at
225 E. Elk Grove Boulevard, Elk Grove Village Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, including
the recommendations made by said Board at the hearing, find and believe that sufficient hardship
exists so as to justify the granting of said variation subject to adhering to the conditions as
recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals dated February 19, 2010 be
and the same are hereby incorporated by reference into this ordinance.
Section 2: That there be granted a variation of Sections 7A -1:B (2) (a) and 7A -1:F-1 to
permit the installation of a four foot (4') tall ornamental fence within one foot (1') of the property
lines along Elk Grove Boulevard, along the parking lot accessed from the street, and along Ridge
Avenue on property located at 225 East Elk Grove Boulevard, Elk Grove Village Illinois, subject
to petitioner adhering to the conditions as recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals, which
conditions are adopted by reference herein.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full and force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
