AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-7:E(3)(b) AND
SECTION 4-3:C(1) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE PARKING
AND STORAGE OF VEHICLES WITHIN A REQUIRED FRONT YARD AND THE
LOCATION OF OFF-STREET PARKING WITHIN THE TWENTY FIVE FOOT (25')
SETBACK AREA TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF FOUR (4) PARKING
STALLS ON LIVELY BOULEVARD AND THREE (3) PARKING STALLS ON
ARTHUR AVENUE WITHIN THE REQUIRED FRONT YARD AND TWENTY FIVE
FOOT (25') BUILDING SETBACK AREA FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2050-2100
LIVELY BOULEVARD ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing duly called and held
according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-7:E(3)(b) and
Section 4-3:C(1) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation of seven (7) parking stalls
within a required front yard and twenty five foot (25') building setback area for property located
at 2050-2100 Lively Boulevard, Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and
believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-7:E(3)(b) of the Zoning
Ordinance pertaining to the parking and storage of vehicles within the required front yard in all
industrial zoned districts, and a variation of Section 4-3:C(1), Exhibit F thereof which prohibits
the location of off-street parking within the twenty five foot (25') setback area to permit the
installation of four (4) parking stalls on Lively Boulevard and three (3) parking stalls on Arthur
Avenue within the required front yard and setback area for property located at 2050-2100 Lively
Boulevard, Elk Grove Village.

Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2
