AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO CROSSPOINT BIBLE
CHURCH TO ALLOW RELIGIOUS SERVICES IN A B-2 ZONING DISTRICT ON THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10 KING STREET IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public
Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a Special Use
Permit to Crosspoint Bible Church to allow religious services in a B-2 Zoning District as a
Special Use on property located at 10 King Street; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
considering the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in
the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be granted as requested, subject to the
conditions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the findings and recommendations of the Plan Commission dated
January 31, 2012 be and the same are hereby incorporated into this ordinance.
Section 2: That there is hereby granted a Special Use Permit to Crosspoint Bible Church
to allow religious services in a B-2 Zoning District on property located at 10 King Street, Elk
Grove Village, which Special Use Permit is subject to the following conditions:
1. Compliance with the submitted landscape plans; and
2. Installation of a new parking lot with proper stormwater detention.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
