A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING APPLICATION FOR FUNDING UNDER ILLINOIS'
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) IKE-DISASTER
RECOVERY PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK
TO EXECUTE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDE INFORMATION TO
OBTAIN SAID GRANT
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is applying to the State of Illinois for a
CDBG Disaster Recovery program grant; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an application be made and agreements entered into with
the State of Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village of Elk Grove Village apply for a grant under the terms and
conditions of the State of Illinois and shall enter into and agree to the understandings and
assurances contained in said application.
Section 2: That the Mayor and Village Clerk on behalf of the Village execute such
documents and all other documents necessary for the carrying out of said application.
Section 3: That the mayor and Village Clerk are authorized to provide such additional
information as may be required to accomplish the obtaining of such grant.
Section 4: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
