AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-3-6 CLASSIFICATION OF LICENSES OF
THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE PERTAINING
TO CLASS D LIQUOR LICENSES
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the paragraph titled CLASS D LICENSE of Section 3-3-6
CLASSIFICATION OF LICENSES be amended to read as follows:
CLASS D LICENSE — which shall authorize a restaurant to sell beer, wine, ale and other
malt based alcoholic liquors only, at retail for consumption on the premises specified, as
incidental or complementary service to the sale of food. A "restaurant" is hereby
identified as an establishment whose primary use is the sale of food for consumption on
the premises.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is authorized to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
approval and publication according to law.
