A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LETTER OF
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND
REDSPEED ILLINOIS, LLC EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT FOR
THE OPERATION OF A TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM FOR TWO (2)
ADDITIONAL CONSECUTIVE AND AUTOMATIC THREE (3) YEAR TERMS FROM
JULY 7, 2014 TO JULY 7, 2020
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Mayor and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to sign the attached Letter of
Agreement extending the term of the Agreement for the operation of a traffic law enforcement
system for two (2) additional consecutive and automatic three (3) year terms from July 7, 2014 to
July 7, 2020, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.

RE: September 25, 2007 Agreement between RedSpeed Illinois, LLC ("RedSpeed") and the
Village of Elk Grove Village, an Illinois Municipal Corporation ("Municipality") for
Traffic Law Enforcement System, as amended by the April 22, 2008 First Amendment,
the March 24, 2009 Second Amendment, the February 23, 2010 Third Amendment, and
the March 9, 2010 Fourth Amendment to Agreement (collectively the "Agreement').
Pursuant to Paragraph 3 (Term) of the Agreement, the Municipality extends the term of the
Agreement for two (2) additional consecutive and automatic three (3) year terms from July 7,
2014 to July 7, 2020.
