AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-3-6 AND 3-1-6 OF TITLE 3, LIQUOR
CONTROL BY ADDING A CLASS RR LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOL OFF
PREMISES IN RESTAURANTS / RETAIL FOOD STORES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That SECTION 3-3-6 Classification of Licenses of Title 3, Chapter 3 Liquor
Control be amended by adding thereto a Class RR Retail Food Store / Restaurant license which
shall read as follows:
CLASS RR — Which shall authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption off
premises in stores which have a full services restaurant combined with the retail sale
of food products, which stores must have a minimum of 10,000 square feet of floor
area.
Section 2: That Section 3-1-6 License fees be amended by adding thereto the following
under "Liquor".
TYPE OF BUSINESS ANNUAL FEE UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED
Class RR $2,700
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
