AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7E -6:A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE PERTAINING TO USES PROHIBITED IN
I-1 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public
Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of approving a Text
Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the Village pertaining to uses prohibited in I-1 Industrial
Districts; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe it
to be in the best interest of the Village that the proposed Text Amendment be added to the
Zoning Ordinance as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 7E -6:A of the Zoning Ordinance be amended by deleting
Industry No. 2082 Malt beverages, Industry No. 2083 Malt, and Industry No. 2084 Wines,
brandy and brandy spirits from the list of prohibited uses in I-1 Industrial Districts.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
