AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-4-7-A OF THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE
CODE BY REDUCING THE SPEED LIMIT ON BIESTERFIELD ROAD BETWEEN
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD AND ROHLWING ROAD FROM FORTY (40) MILES
PER HOUR TO THIRTY-FIVE (35) MILES PER HOUR
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-7-A of the Elk Grove Village Code be and the same is
hereby amended by reducing the speed limit on Biesterfield Road between Arlington Heights
Road and Rohlwing Road from forty (40) miles per hour to thirty-five (35) miles per hour.
Section 2: Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be tined
not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each
offense.
Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet
form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
