AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 50 BIESTERFIELD ROAD
FROM B-2 GENERAL BUSINESS TO B-3 BUSINESS DISTRICT (AUTOMOTIVE)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, acting as a Zoning Commission, at a Public Hearing
duly called and held according to law, considered the petition to rezone property located at 50
Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village from B-2 General Business to B-3 Business District
(Automotive); and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after
having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe it
to be in the best interest of the Village that said property be rezoned as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the property located at 50 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village Illinois
be and the same is hereby rezoned from B-2 General Business to B-3 Business District
(Automotive), which property is legally described as follows:
LOT 3 IN ELK CROSSING, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE
NORTHWEST'/ OF THE NORTHEAST %4 (EXCEPT THE NORTH 15 ACRES
THEREOF) OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE
THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, ACCORDING TO
THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED MARCH 19, 1987 AS DOCUMENT 87148082,
IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
Section 2: That the Finding of Fact of the Plan Commission regarding property located
at 50 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois dated October 8, 2014 be and the same is
hereby incorporated into this Ordinance.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the zoning map of the
Village to reflect the rezoning as set forth herein.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect form and after its passage
and approval according to law.
