AN ORDINANCE DELETING ARTICLE H ICE DEALERS OF CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE
3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
WHEREAS, the Village currently provides for the licensing of ice dealers and ice
vending machines pursuant to Article H, Chapter 5 of Title 3 of the Village Code; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees have recently been advised that the sale
of ice is included in other licensing sections and that no license under Article H has been applied
for over the last several years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Article H Ice Dealers of Chapter 5 of Title 3 of the Elk Grove Village
Code be and the same is hereby deleted.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication according to the law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
