AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-3-10 A. GAMBLING OF THE VILLAGE
CODE PERTAINING TO THE SANCTIONING OF VIDEO GAMING
ESTABLISHMENTS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 3-3-10 A. Gambling be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
A. Gambling: It shall be unlawful to permit gambling on any premises licensed to sell
alcoholic liquor, provided that this Section shall not apply to the following:
1. Off Track Betting Facilities as established pursuant to Section 3-3-13 of this Code.
2. Video Gaining establishments as set for in Section 3-24-1 et. seq. of this Code.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this Ordinance in
pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication according to law.
