AN ORDINANCE AMENDING POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE (POLICE COMMANDER -POLICE
DEPARTMENT; AND POLICE OFFICER -POLICE DEPARTMENT.)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan of the Village of Elk Grove
Village be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Permanent Authorized Positions
Delete Add
Police Department Current Full -Time Full -Time January 1, 2016
Police Commander 3 0 1 4
Delete Add
Police Department Current Full -Time Full -Time January 31, 2016
Police Officer 76 6 0 70
(Note: Authorized amount was increased to allow for retirements. Authorized amount
will decrease back to 70 with promotions.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
