AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDED SITE PLAN FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF PERRIE DRIVE NORTH OF LANDMEIER
ROAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS REGENCY SQUARE APARTMENT COMPLEX)
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village pursuant to Ordinance No. 1185, Ordinance No. 1672 and Ordinance No. 2955
approved the construction of apartment and condominium buildings, and have approved a
site plan for said property; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned for an amendment to
said site plan to permit the relocation of one condominium building approximately fifty
feet (50') to the southeast to avoid unbuildable underground soils conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees may approve minor changes to the
site plan provided they do not change the concept or the intent of the development; and
WHEREAS, the amended site plan has been reviewed for conformance with all
of the current codes and regulations currently in effect within the Village and applicable
to the development and for conformance with the classification as a minor change as
identified within the Zoning Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees find and believe it to be in the best
interest of the Village that said site plan be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1185, Ordinance No. 1672, and Ordinance No.
2955 which Ordinances approved the construction of apartment and condominium
buildings on Perrie Drive north of Landmeier Road, be and the same is hereby amended
by substituting an amended site plan, copies of which are attached hereto and are on file
in the office of the Village Clerk.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
