TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS HELD
AT THE CHARLES J. ZETTEK MUNICIPAL BUILDING AT 901
WELLINGTON AVENUE ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 06, 1994 .
Village President Dennis J. Gallitano called the meeting to order
at 8 : 03 p.m.
1 . ROLL CALL:
Present : President Dennis J. Gallitano
Trustees : Nancy J. Czarnik, Craig B. Johnson,
James P. Petri, Paul A. Rettberg, and Michael
A. Tosto
Absent : Ronald L. Chernick
Also Present : Village Manager, Gary E . Parrin; and Village
Clerk, Patricia S. Smith
A Quorum was present .
President Gallitano stated that the purpose of this meeting
is to consider a request from West Irving Die Casting, Inc .
as to their qualifications for industrial revenue bond
financing through the Illinois Development Finance
Authority. The financing will be used for acquisition and
renovation of facilities owned by Du-Ecks Die Casting
Company.
In attendance representing West Irving Die Casting, Inc .
were : John Klement, President; Aiden D. Walsh, Vice
President; Jonathan D. Gartner, Vice President of LaSalle
National Capital Markets; and James Jacobson, General
Counsel .
Mr. Jacobson addressed the Board, thanking them for holding
this meeting to meet the financing deadline for adopting a
resolution authorizing the issuance of industrial revenue
bonds in favor of West Irving Die Casting, Inc . The Company
is looking forward to becoming a part of Elk Grove Village .
2 . REGULAR AGENDA
A. Industrial Revenue Bond Financing - Adopt Resolution
No. 64-94 entitled, "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (WEST IRVING DIE
CASTING COMPANY, INC. , PROJECT) AND TRANSFER OF
INTEREST THEREIN. "
Moved: Trustee Johnson Seconded: Trustee Rettberg
AYES : Trustees Czarnik, Johnson, Petri, Rettberg, Tosto
ABSENT: Trustee Chernick
MOTION CARRIED
President Gallitano stated that with the passage of the
resolution, West Irving Die Casting, Inc . can now obtain
financing from the Illinois Financing Authority at a rate of
3-4% not 8°s .
The President invited the owners to attend the Elk Grove
Village Business Liaison Council .
