THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON APRIL 18, 1989
President Charles J. Zettek called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. in the
Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village and noted for the
record that the following were present: Trustees Joseph T. Bosslet, Ronald
L. Chernick, Dennis J. Gallitano, Edward R. Hauser, James P. Petri, Michael A.
Tosto. Village Manager, Charles A. Willis; and Village Clerk, Patricia S. Smith
were present at this meeting.
President Zettek stated that the purpose of this meeting is to meet the require-
ments of the Open Meetings Act by holding an open meeting to call for an executive
session of the President and Board to discuss personnel - the appointment of
new members to the standing committees of Village.
It was moved by Trustee Chernick and seconded by Trustee Hauser that the Board
meet in Executive Session at approximately 8: 15 p.m. this evening following the
Committee of the Whole meeting which will begin upon the adjournment of this meeting
for the purpose of discussing the Presidents recommendations for appointments to
the various standing committees of the Village. The President directed the Clerk
to call the roll on the motion and upon the roll being called the following
answered AYE: Trustees, Bosslet, Chernick, Gallitano, Hauser, Petri, Tosto;
NAY: none; ABSENT: none; whereupon the President declared the motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Hauser and seconded by Trustee Chernick that the meeting
be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation; whereupon the President
declared the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
