Presidcrt Zottek welcomed Miss Janet Lewis , newly appointed Village Adminis-
trative Interne , daughter of former Village Trustee ,Ralph Lewis.
It was moved by Trustee Chernick and seconded by Trustee Staddler that the
Board waive the first reading rule with respect to an ordinance designating
a fire lane and urohibiting parking in the east drive of the Elk Grove Office
Plaza at 2620 East Higgins Road, in accordance with the request of the property
owner. The motion was voted upon by acclamation; whereupon the President
declared the motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Chernick and seconded by Trustee Staddler that the
Board adopt Ordinance We, 935 ,entitied , "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23 .903
(LANE DESIGNATION) OF ARTICLE IX (FIRE LANES) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE". Thu Piusidunt directed the Clerk to call the
roll on the motion and upon the roll being called the following answered AYE:
Trustees Chernick, Kenna , Specs , Staddler, Tosto, Vanderweel ; NAYS: Nona;
ABSENT: None; whereupon the President declared the motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Chernick and seconded by Trustee Vanderweel that the
Board waive the first reading rule with respect to an ordinance designating
a fire lone and prohibiting parking in certain areas of Parcel "C" of the Elk
Grove Townhouse Condowinimums Estates in accordance with the request of the
property ohner. The motion was voted upon by acclamation; "hereupon the Presi -
dent declaruld the motion acrriod.
