MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE HELD Oil JUNE 5, 1968
President Jack D. Pahl called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. in the
Municipal Building in said Village.
Upon the roll. being called by the Village Clerk, Eleanor G. Turner, the
following Trustees answered "PRESENT" - Ronald L. Chernick, George C.
Coney, Sugene V. Keith, Richard A. McGrenera; "ABSENT" - James R. Gibson,
Charles J. Zettek.
This is a continuation of a special meeting called on June 4, 1968 for
the purpose of considering the annual 1968/69 working budget.
Trustee Gibson arrived at 8:12 p.m. Trustee Zettek arrived at 8:30 p.m.
The Board discussed the budget beginning with page 41 and following dis-
cussion the following changes were made:
Page 48 Delete $2,000.00 on professional service, appropriate
$1 ,000.00.
Page 43 Change $5,000.00 for professional services to $3,000.00.
Page 46 Delete national conference of $270.00.
Page 49 Delete $4,824.00 for Clerk Typist.
f Page 50 Change $880.00 to $440.00 on typewriters. Delete
}l X4250.00 for desk and chair.
Page 52 Delete all amounts.
Page 53 Delete all amounts.
Page 54 Delete all amounts.
The review of the budget at this meeting ended with page 61 .
It was moved by Trustee Zettek and seconded by Trustee Coney that the
meeting be recessed to June 10, 1968 at 8:00 p.m. The motion was voted
upon by acclamation; whereupon the President declared the motion carried
and the meeting adjourned at 11 :00 p.m.
