MEETING OF THE PRESIDFAT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE HELD ON JUAIE 17, 1968
President Jack D. Pahl called the meeting to order at 8:06 p.m. in the
Municipal Building in said Village.
Upon the roll being called by the Village Clerk, Eleanor G. Turner, the
following Trustees answered "PRESENT" - George C. Coney, James R. Gibson,
Eugene V. Keith, Richard A. McGrenera; "ABS&T" - Ronald L. Chernick,
Charles J. Zettek.
This is a continuation of the special meeting on June 10, 1968 to
consider the 1968/69 budget.
Trustee Zettek arrived at 10:00 p.m.
The Board discussed the remainder of the proposed budget beginning with
page 80.
Following discussion on the street maintenance program, it was decided
that the Capital Improvements Committee will review the streets proposed
for repair and recommend a priority program.
It was agreed that paid-on-call Firemen will receive the same five (5%)
per cent increase in pay given to all other Village employees.
It was moved by Trustee Coney and seconded by Trustee McGrenera that
the meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation;
whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the meeting
adjourned at 11 :40 p.m.
